Case Notes
This case involves a 41-year-old female who underwent drainless abdominoplasty and liposuction. The procedures focused on the abdominal area, hips, and flanks. A total of 2660 grams of tissue was removed from the abdomen, and 1000 mL of fat and fluid were suctioned from the hip rolls and upper and lower flanks. The post-operative images taken 14 months later display a significant reduction in abdominal protrusion and more defined waist contouring. The surgical technique utilized progressive tension sutures which are visible along the lower abdomen, contributing to the redefined abdominal profile. The skin appears smooth with minimal visible scarring at the incision sites. These outcomes are specific to this patient's surgical intervention and post-operative care regimen. Performed by Dr. Dan Shell, Memphis Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon.
